Several athletes travel to Georgia Tech Invitational, come home with NCAA Regional qualifying marks.

Final Stats

ATLANTA, Ga. - Six members of the Notre Dame track and field program secured spots in the NCAA Mideast Regional meet after registering solid performances at the Georgia Tech Invitational this past weekend.

Each of Notre Dame's four runners in the 1,500m event (Kurt Benninger, Jake Watson, Daniel Clark) turned in regional-qualifying times.

Alyissa Hasan qualified for the regional meet with her marks in the 100m Hurdles (13.74) while Brandon Drenon (discus) and Anna Weber (hammer) also made qualifying cuts.

Team-best outdoor marks for the season were set by Justin Schneider (100m hurdles, javelin), Brandon Drenon (discus) and Elise Knutzen (javelin).

The Irish will be competing in the NCAA Mideast Regional meet in Fayetteville, Ark., from May 30-31.
